The Bhagavad-Gītā is a 700-verse scripture that forms part of the great Indian epic, the Mahābhārata. It takes the form of a dialogue between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna, who serves as his charioteer, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra — just before a great war is about to begin.
